Hardest sport to score on? What? you only like the easy baskets?

That's great, but that cap and that model won't allow MLS to compete for the best players in the world. Ninety percent of MLS players aspire to one day play somewhere else. That is not my definition of a major league.

On the plus side, the atmosphere in many of the western venues (Seattle, Portland, Utah) is pretty damn good.

Absolutely. I love Portland's lumberjack guy with the chain saw who cuts a slice off the giant log for each goal.

The Columbus Crew crowd is also quite raucous and fun.

Long term... soccer is very popular in America, mls is not but this business model is slowly working, it wont happen overnight, mls is doing good.

Oh, it's doing fine for what it is. What it isn't, though, is a major league.

Mls is more concerned about building a true fan base, you old dudes arent the target, most of you made up your mind a long time ago that you will always hate soccer, mls.understands that.

Mls is going after the kids in elementary school, middle school, high school, these are the ones watching ronaldo and messi videos on youtube.

Mls will be a major league in possibly 15-20 years, we will witness it.

Orlando and Atlanta are in, many other cities want in badly.

Sacramento, St Louis, San Antonio, Miami, Las Vegas... North Carolina may be looking at mls too.
