    Although Selig is supposedly monitoring negotiations (I don't think he's smart enough to do that), with Boras as the agent, proving bad faith would be very tough. Almost all teams hate dealing with Boras. If the Sox refuse to go over 2 years, and claim the $51M stretched them, bad faith would be nearly impossible to prove.
