    Just listened to the JFK Inaugural speech in its entirety. Very stirring. I'll never stop wondering what the country and our world would be like had Nov. 22, 1963 not happened.

    Those who die young are always remembered fondly. They are full of promise and leave you wondering what-if. Or, they don't have enough time to screw up their reputation, I guess.

    Not specifically directing that at Kennedy. There are many examples.

    As it should be, in a democracy. I thought it was a great speech.

    And later, I remember getting the news of the shooting in my dorm room and heading over to the student union to watch the news on TV. What a rotten day that was.
