    This may have slipped by some of the youngsters on the site, and perhaps us elder crowd forgot, but on the turning 40 thread,
    the poster currently known as Shockey announced he had a birthday today.

    And not just any birthday, but a biggee--a milestone number. The Hawaii birthday. Five-zero.

    So, happy birthday, Shockey.

    And hope your young one wins his game tonight in dad's honor.

    thanks, captain. the littlest shockey pitched a 1,2,3 sixth to clinch his team's victory and earn a bye in the first round of the playoffs saturday. so now they play on father's day.

    no place i'd rather be sunday!!

    oh, and thanks so much for the chicks pic, chickie!! ;D
