Buddy of mine on Facebook threw out a status change wondering about an earthquake -- and he lives in Ann Arbor.

It's God's way of saying She is really pissed off that the G20 summit is in Toronto this weekend. She really wanted to see the Phillies

Down here in Cincy, I didn't feel a thing... but even the local hyperactive TV folks just broke in with a special report featuring a UC professor. Apparently, some people down here noticed it.

So did your friend FarmerJ near Syracuse. I was removing wallpaper, and I was pretty psyched that I was off the ladder when the house started shaking.

It wasn't anything major, I don't think the cats woke up. I just kept an eye on the TV to make sure it didn't teeter off the dresser.

An area YMCA was evacuated though. Old building.

    Same here, Wolv.

Have heard reports it was felt up to Port Huron, Saginaw and Ann Arbor.

Office was swaying in downtown Cleveland. Not cool. Was queasy.

This must have been the cause: Kwame Kilpatrick throwing a fit because he's now facing federal charges (crossthread)

I read a paperback novel years and years ago where an earthquake triggered a nuclear power plant catastrophe that decimated Toronto.

  11. The quake was also felt in West Virginia.
