    Oh, I doubt this incident will avoid some commentary from Berman. Remember, he has a ring from the 49ers. Biggest 'Niner homer in the business, at least outside of San Fransisco

    Reynolds has been gone for about two years... Great guy, but he did that in-house tape to teach players how to be in the public eye, which featured racist jokes and topless women and it got out there, so he got axed.

    EDIT: Leaving this here, but JUST to show how dense I am. I misread the post and posted a follow-up quickly. I forgot he did the tape in the mayor's office... Duh. I feel like an idiot.

    A few years ago Charles Pierce did a feature on Berman for SI. Talked about how the 49ers gave him a ring, and Berman was wondering why it was such big deal that people wanted him to give it back.
