Is "told" the same as "forced"?

One of the Giants' early marketing masterstrokes was to embrace Until There's A Cure Day and the gay community in general. It's a huge deal out here. It was when Garrison Hearst went off 10 years ago, and it was when the 49ers' off-color "media sensitivity" training tape leaked a few years after that, and it always will be.

Why? Because he reported what a player said? The nerve.

    Sarcasm doesn't become you, Dickie.
He asked the question knowing it would probably create a shitstorm.

I wish someone would ask Ray Lewis about gay marriage. Please, for all that is good and holy, will someone reading this and at the Super Bowl do that today? Pretty please with sugar on top?

49ers PR should have studied Radio Row and issued directives of where players weren't allowed to go. I bet future teams do that. Lange interview was going to be trouble from the jump.

I am proud - almost moved to tears at certain moments - of my country for essentially turning gay-bashing from the status quo to the equivalent of race-bashing within a span of less than a decade. Just a remarkable job by, for lack of a better phrase, the gay lobby.

I can't get into the gay lobby because I am chronically underdressed.

It's fine, their drinks are way overpriced anyway.

When will the monolithic Christian majority in this country ever get a break? When?
