I've seen Moyer once each of the past three seasons and he's been tougher later in the game than earlier.
Guy has something going for him.
The easy trivia of the day: Who is his father-in-law?

    Digger!

  3. This home half of the sixth might be too long. Nice two-out hit by Jayson Werth (who made a tremendous catch earlier) to give Jamie some breathing room though.

And now another walk and a pitching change for the Marlins.

Moyer will be 46 by the time he pitches again.

Only 69 pitches through six innings.

I honestly don't think Moyer throws hard enough for his arm to get tight.

Well, that ends the sixth. Here comes Moyer.

If they have to pull Moyer, Myers' fastball will look like it's coming in at about 120 mph.

FWIW, he's faced the minimum. Walked one guy, and then got a 7-6-3 DP on a ball Cabrera crushed to left-center.

Nats announcer just said "Moyer has been relieved by Kevin Gregg."
Interesting, since Gregg plays for the other team.

Literally, I mean. Not that there would be anything wrong with that.
