    Kathrine Switzer became the first woman to complete the Boston Marathon.

    The cutline on the photo is incorrect. The official was attempting to rip the number off her back and got knocked on his ass by the guy in the sweatshirt and shorts. SI did a story on this on the 10th anniversary and had a series of photos showing what happened.
