39th Ryder Cup

    Oh, it's an awesome event to be at or to cover. I know 1999 was an exceptional story, but I enjoyed covering the Ryder Cup more than the majors I covered (all but the British Open).

    Hotels from Schaumburg to downtown are packed.

    Pickup at the downtown hotels is 6:00 AM.

    I'm starting to wonder why do I ever root for any of these European guys when they are playing over here. This is going to be very wild/partisan on Sunday (understatement).

    Bradley's caddie helicoptering the flag after his match-clinching putt was awesome. Keegan is one of my favorite players on tour. Love it.
