And sex with a dead animal may not be a crime. Interesting legal point.

Now wait just a goddamn minute here!

    This happened in SUPERIOR, WISCONSIN!

    NOT DULUTH!

The two towns may be across the harbor from each other, but they are night and day.

    Again, I repeat,

THIS HAPPENED IN SUPERIOR, WISCONSIN, NOT MINNESOTA!

My bad....but I got it from the Duluth newspaper. Apparently, they have a Superior, Wis. bureau.
Somehow, I don't think the people in Duluth were all that shocked.

    Rosie --
Yeah, but probably only because he was racing across the Bong Bridge to hit the Tap Room for 2-for1's at 2 a.m.

    hondo --
The News-Tribune has a Superior Bureau beause that's where nearly ALL the crime in the area happens. It's truly a shithole.

Shocked that this happened around "Soup-town"?

    No.

    Sickened and disgusted, definitely.

    But not shocked. [/former Duluthian]

And Zeke, go to your room, the kid is 20 years old and Duluth had cracked down hard on underage drinking.

Do you know how cold it is in Duluth/Superior this time of year?

He was just trying to stay warm.

No need to get mad, Mom. I loves me some Duluth.

You can probably still get a pitcher of Grain Belt for $5 at the Pioneer.

And nothing ever beat the bird time outs when the gulls would land on the outfield/infield/parking lot/players' heads during a Dukes game.

Shit, Ides, it hasn't even started getting cold up there, yet. Check back in February.

This happened over a month ago.

    It wasn't that cold then.

The Pioneer. Too much of my mis-spent youth was spent there.

And I do miss hitting Wade Stadium for some Northern League ball.

One thing I never had the balls to order at the Pioneer: The shrimp burger.

And I got plenty drunk there, too.

All the women in Duluth were working at the Club Saratoga that night and he was too young to get in.
