33 years later, George Foreman reveals the truth

    I thought it was postponed because of a cut over Foreman's eye.

    Yep, I remember I saw something were Angelo Dundee was talking about it. If it wasn't for Dundee, Ali would've called the fight himself because it burned so bad. Dundee quickly wiped the stuff off of his eyes and calmed Ali down. If the ref would've been close to Ali, he probably would've called the fight.

    In one of the Ali biographies -- may have been "The Greatest" -- he talks about how some of his cronies accused Dundee of blinding Ali with tainted water in that fight. Worried they were going to kill him, Dundee reached into the bucket of water, rubbed some all over his face, and said, "See! It wasn't me."

    I don't know if he was doped up but I do know one thing, he got his ass kicked.
