Mine runs a tight ship and is pleasant to his employees.

 

Both editors pretty much turned over the daily operations so they could take care of the bigger picture: financial budgets, personnel issues, etc.

that said, an old editor of mine, whom i lovingly refer to as 'the goat raper' would spend his entire tuesday during the summer on the softball lineup. and then, somebody wouldn't show up and he'd have to shuffle it at the last minute. but the dumb bastard would spend the entire next tuesday on the lineup despite the fact someone would not show up and he'd have to change it at the last minute again. high comedy.

My SE does too much.

He doesn't delegate enough.

He worries too damn much.

He'll die of a stressed induced heart attack before he's 50 if he doesn't find a way to relax.

Other than that, he's a cool guy who runs a good department.

 

goat raper is the fucking cheater -- i doubt the goat gave permission, thus, raper over fucker
