3-pt line question

I know there's a thread on this somewhere, but I didn't want this question to get lost or ignored. The AP story on the college men's 3-pt line moving back says the men's basketball rules committee approved moving it, but the the playing rules oversight committee still must approve it on May 25.

Question: Is the playing rules oversight committee a rubber-stamp kind of thing, making this all but a sure bet? Or is there still a chance this doesn't pass?

It should pass. Everything I've read said it will sail through approval. Coaches are already talking about it as if it's a done deal.
