    If this has been posted already, feel free to shut this down. But this proved a welcome diversion - of only for a few minutes - on this most horrific of days.

    I remember watching this game on television, and seeing Clemente get his 3,000th hit. The game was stopped and his 3000th hit was noted, but there probably would have been a bigger celebration had it happened today. Of course, at the time none of us knew it would be Clemente's last hit.
