Cloverfield and Rambo are trying to be exceptions to that rule... Typically, most movies that are released in January suck... Obviously, that's not the case for movies that are released in December for Oscar consideration and then go into wide release in January...

Been wondering why I haven't seen 27 Dresses on any of the freeview sites ... thanks for the advice. I'll stop looking for it.

See, I didn't mind that one either.
Although I think it was mostly because Bradshaw and Kathy Bates were a hoot.

Wait, did Mizzoo just say he was looking forward to Rambo?

And I enjoyed 13 going 30, that was a chick flick, I think.

I won't be seeing 27 Dresses or 28 Days after 27 Dresses. Heigl pissed me off with her comments about Knocked Up and then she does this movie. Richard Roeper noted the incongruity of her comments and also her latest film.

Heigl actually ripped a movie that she was in? You're kidding me, right?

Sounds like playing a bitch wasn't much of a stretch for her.

I don't have a problem with what she said. It makes her a bitch to have an opinion about a movie she was in?

Rambo is a chick flick -- to Chuck Norris!

Did she not see the script before she took the role?
No, she took the job. Then, after these people helped her career, she slammed them.

Not to threadjack or anything but there's a thread on Cloverfield.

Don't we have a "Movies" thread like the Books thread> I thought it was stickied at one point.

True. There's one on The Bucket List, too, among others.
