Kiefer Sutherland was on Fallon's show last night. He said season 8 takes place "a short time" after season 7, not a year or two later, like normal. Make of that what you will.

 

Yeah, I actually felt bad about that. Teri's death was pretty bad too, but you just knew things weren't going to end peachy for Jack.

 

I agree. Edgar always seemed like an innocent for some reason.

In 24, Boyd (The Notorious Bettie Page) will play Jonah Schwartz, one of the new systems analysts at CTU. Westfeldt (Kissing Jessica Stein) will play Meredith Reed, an ambitious journalist with ties to Arman Hashemi (Anil Kapoor), a Middle East leader on a US peacemaking mission.

Season 8 will be set a year-and-a-half to two years after Day 7 in New York City, and would include the reformation of a “more budget-conscious” CTU, complete with new leader. Season Eight begins production this week.

24 gets real? In a show in which a guy is tortured daily and brought back to life via a stem cell procedure after he was placed into a coma because he was exposed to copious amounts of biological weapons?

Yes. The last two hours were the only good ones of the season.

 

If Jack had done that he could have saved himself a lot of trouble.
