Chase is a live. . . albeit with a sewed on forearm from when Jack had to cut it off with an axe to get the the briefcase with the deadly viral gas off his wrist and into a refrigerator so it didn't kill thousands.

As for Tony being alive, I can buy it. Jack has actually died twice in the show yet is still killing terrorists so Tony deserves another chance. Now they need to bring back Michelle. . . they can say that she really didn't die in the explosion and has been in super-secret undercover work since so as not to tip off the bad guys that she is alive.

As for President Palmer. . . no chance. A bullet to the face pretty much did him in. Besides, he's pretty busy hiding from government assassins right now on The Unit.

I for one, am happy they are resurrecting Tony. Loved the character.

Something a buddy of mine got ... a great line about Sutherland's latest brush with the wrong side of the law.

"Wouldn't it be cool if Sutherland's breathalyzer reading was .24"

Damn, the season was absolutely horrible last year, and with this news, it will probably only get worse.

I liked Tony's character too, but I mean, come on now.

I may be the only one, but I'm pretty optimistic about this season. They can't have back-to-back crappy seasons, can they?

    Season 1 was great.
Season 2 was not so great.
Season 3 was pretty damn good.
    Season 4 was OK...
Season 5 was great, arguably the best season...
Season 6 went on too long and was too complicated and drawn out. It was great for most of the season, but slipped considerably at the end...

OK. The first part of Season 6 was amazing. But after that, it was drug out too much.
