    Tina's not already in?
Tapestry kicked ass, and King wrote many of the bedrock songs of Rock and Roll.
Todd Rundgren belongs given the influence he had and collaborations with many already in.
    JayZ
    and whomever Jann Wenner wants.

Hang on, DMB got more than 1 million fan votes in 2020 but didn’t get in. Now they aren’t even eligible in 2021?

And where the hell is Jimmy Buffett?

Tina Turner and Carole King are already in, but not as individuals.

He's strumming a six-string, on his front porch swing looking for his lost shaker of salt.

First of all, if Oasis isn't nominated then the process is a joke.

    Next ...

    Kate Bush -- meh
    Devo -- of fucking course
    Foo Fighters -- I guess
    The Go-Go's -- of course
    Iron Maiden -- of course
    Jay-Z -- of course
Chaka Khan -- I'd have to do more research on her entire body

Fela Kuti -- don't know who this is
LL Cool J -- of fucking course
New York Dolls -- don't know much about

Foo Fighters, Rage and Iron Maiden all seem like "slam dunk" picks, between their styles of music and the name of said Hall of Fame, so I assume one of them will miss induction. At least one of the Blige, Jay-Z and LL Cool J trio will probably be picked, to trigger "outrage" and clicks. I also suspect one "artsy" pick like Kate Bush, Carole King, New York Dolls or Todd Rundgren. Tina Turner and Dionne Warwick both seem like they've been in the Hall for 20 years already to me, and yet, don't seem like they should be in it at all. And, they should just rename it the "Music Hall of Fame" or some generic thing like that, since that would sell plenty of tickets.

Buffett is an interesting case. A lot of guys in the bro country world are just following the path he started years ago. There's a lot more to his career than just Margaritaville and his other big songs. Given the life he has right now he probably doesn't care too much.

On DMB, I'm a huge fan. I don't think I'm even putting in the Hall Of Fame. Not yet anyway.
It's the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame for crying out loud. It's become so watered down with everyone who has made 1 good album then they think they get in.
    Nah.
