Felix Rosenqvist, who finished second at the Watkins Glen virtual race, just upgraded from a setup that was no more than a bolt-on desk steering wheel and an IKEA chair.

That looks like a setup I had to play racing games on my computer back in the mid 90s.

I'd cut somebody for Hamlin's rig.

I want NASCAR to do one at Laguna Seca or the Track of the Americas in Texas.

Today at virtual Bristol: William Byron your winner, Bubba Wallace possibly fired by his sponsor.

That may be a sign that video-game racin' has gone too far.

Actions have consequences, and it cost Wallace one of his sponsors. If he wasn't going to take it seriously, he should not have signed up for the race.

    1. I have never heard of Blue Emu
    2. But had I, I would have assumed it's found in some sort of kinky corner of PornHub
    3. They found a handy way of getting out from under an onerous contract during a recession.

Not really. They are still one of NASCAR's title sponsors.
I've never used the stuff, but they advertise on John Boy and Billy every morning.

Some of their skits get under my skin in the present situation, but I've been a listener every morning for more than 25 years.
Heck, I even went back and added John Isley to the "5" thread about famous people you've talked to.

I guess not, but this stuff has gotten into the theatre of absurd.

My dad has gone from me forcing him to watch the first iRace to watching replays of the races on a Tuesday night.
