On that team, he's filling the Dwight Howard role. Or, JAVALE MCGEE if you prefer. Generic big man that logs anywhere from zero to 20 minutes in actual playoff games. If AD isn't playing the 5 at the end of games they're probably fucked anyway.

Apparently the Jazz didn’t mix well with A Flock Of Seagulls.

ARod is turning into one of the most successful businessman former pro-athlete. He’s apparent a very astute real estate investor. He’s not in anything to be a 3% owner and the greeter at the board meetings.

Found this funny. I have Pascal Siakam on my fantasy squad and he was listed as out last night. The note said Siakam (rest, tanking) will not play.

Spartan Squad and Neutral Corner like this.

When I heard Kanter broke the Blazers team record for rebounds I was stunned it was held by Sidney Wicks and not Maurice Lucas. Most Lucas ever had with Portand was 22 in a game, but did snag 26 one game with the Nets in 1980.

My pet peeve with all stories of this nature, and I realize that it's hard to find out the details when the agreement is first announced, but - Who's actually the owner? Unless this is contrary to any other sports team sale, I'm assuming A-Rod is paying $X million for a percentage smaller than 50 percent, and the other guy is paying $X billion for a percentage greater than 50 percent. Unless you have the 51 percent side, you're not the owner, you're a shareholder.
