I think that players are taught to go to those defined spots on the floor to create spacing. Makes a lot more sense when there are multiple defenders back instead of 1. If he has a cutter, Murray has either an open 3 to win the game or an easy pass for a tie.

Presumably, the first guy, I think that's Michael Porter Jr., continues to the basket if Murray doesn't stop. You know, a fast break, 2 on 1 layup that has been around since peach baskets. If he still strung out to the corner while Murray continued to the basket, then fuck 'em all.

Pick one. If he drives, they keep going with him.

That player was Michael Porter, Jr., the greatest 1 (game) and done player in Mizzou history!*

*Yeah I know he played in 3 but started just 1.

Porter already is heading for the corner before Murray pulls up. Honestly, the second defender from Washington also went to the wrong place.

Sorry, but Shaq mumbles way to much. I heard him say "Michael Porter Jr. <unintelligble>" twice in that clip.

He was stunned because nobody cut to the basket.

If you look from right to left, you think player on the right baseline has the ball because of the bald head from the ref..
