Serena turning an ankle can't have anything to do with her weighing over 2 Bill's, can it?

The ESPN crew collectively threw out their backs carrying Serena's water again.

The foot fault was karmic justice.

Gonna have to defer to weight-checker-to-the-stars Starman for a ruling on her poundage.

It is really an indictment of the women's game that Serena is so dominant while carrying around at least 25 extra pounds.

Well, she got beat in the quarterfinals and Osaka beat her in the US Open, so she’s not as dominant as she used to be.

Nothing about Danielle Collins, the former UVa player who had never won a grand-slam match but is now in the semis? Hell of a story.

    OK, OK.

What does Danielle Collins think about Serena? :)

No question. When she's done, women's tennis is likely to become what women's golf became post Annika Sorenstam. It needs her to stay in the sport, but, physically, she's really at the end of her pro career.

Not that she’s remotely close, however, 21-year-old Brooke Henderson is slowly making a name for her self in the LPGA.

Can we assemble a grand jury on golf as well ?

I don't see anything wrong with the future of women's tennis.

    • Serena Williams is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life. Said every sports journalist., blogger, TV commentator, vendor, ticket taker, volunteer and ballperson in the world and you better fucking agree. No one in the history of the world has ever been subject to the horrors and degradation she has been through, in history. The last woman in the Dachau shower wasn’t as mistreated as Serena Williams. THat she’s been rich beyond your imagination for all her teen life and adult life doesnt makeup for the fact that someone, somewhere doesnt think she deserves the Nobel Prize for Medicine and Literature. And if you dont agree with that, everyone who ever got a paycheck from ESPN, The NY Times, USA Today, NBC and ABC is going to come to your house and take a tennis ball and shove it down your fucking throat."
