    1) Football teams lie to players all the time. (see, "we're a family" and "We'll take care of you on the next contract")

    2) Teams up high in the draft have to broadcast every intention to draft Murray in order to maximize trade value. Also, they have to broadcast their commitment to Rosen so he doesn't suddenly come off as damaged goods. Would they even get a No. 2 for him?
    3) Are any of these QBs going to be better than Fromm, Patterson, Tagaloa or Herbert in next year's draft?
    4) What QB do you play this year to guarantee you are in position to draft one of those four next year? Flacco? Dalton? Winston?

    Apparently Murray doesn’t have “it.”

They determined from an interview that he doesn’t have leadership? Ok. But what do his college teammates and coaches say?

I’d like to know the actual responses he supposedly made to specific questions about leadership and studying. Of course this is probably a disinformation campaign by one or more two teams who hope that he drops.

That was my thought, too. It seems particularly ridiculous to make claims about a guy's leadership skills after talking to him for 15 minutes.

What happened with RGIII and Manziel cannot be doing any favors for Murray.

If teams are saying this type of shit about this kid and they know it’s untrue, Murray and his agent gave a lawsuit roughly the size of Jupiter on their table.

A lawsuit claiming the people who gave a job interview to a candidate came away with the wrong impression? Or willingly muddied the water? Good luck making that case stick.

It's all just the usual pre-draft bullshit. Don't read about it, don't think about it. Everybody's lying all the time and will be until they make their picks.

    How do you prove leadership?

The study habits jumped out at me.

That’s just saying the kid is lazy.

And with that, you've sent up the bat signal and the PC police will be here posthaste.
