This has to mean a setback to Stanton or judge, or another trade of Frazier, or maybe even voit.

 

Or you put Stanton in left and Gardner on the bench

 

And Frazier on the bench.

 

Frazier goes back to Triple-A until he gets traded for pitching

 

Sanchez catching and Stanton in left every day would not be kind to the pitching staff, would it?

 

So no other team needed a 1B/DH in the AL at the cost of a fringe pitching prospect?

 

OF defense is over rated these days where 34% of all plate appearances result in a strikeout, walk or homerun.

 

Turning outs into extra-base hits still matters.

 

Without a doubt he's on the spectrum.

 

Frazier isn’t exactly Willie Mays out there. His defense has been downright terrible, though he’s young enough to improve.

He is, however, clearly a Major League hitter. He’s gotta be pissed about getting sent down.

 

Honestly, I forgot about that. Frazier really is terrible in the outfield.
