Wonder if the Hokies would be able to shake him loose. He’s from Roanoke.

I would of thought that Hoiberg could do better than Nebraska basketball.

He's failed down a bit. Still a power conference and can afford quite a decent salary.

OTOH, it's not a safe bet that he can turn things around, so there's that.

Omaha sports-talk radio has been speculating about Hoiberg-to-Nebraska for weeks.

I think that Hoiberg can wait, see if a better job opens and if not, always still find a job as good as Nebraska.

Hoiberg’s parents are still in Ames and his daughter is in Lawrence. He gets back relatively close to them without having to coach against Iowa State.

Todd Bozeman out at Morgan State. Hope his recruits got to the bank in time to cash their bonus checks.

Gonna take at least $3,500,000, which is about $400,000 more than they're paying the ATM-bound Buzz. This ain't football.

Asshole coaches with drunk wives who make a scene at games in men’s basketball aren’t worth the trouble they were twenty years ago. The real money is in football. Those games have urgency and demand while TV and the expanding tournament make the regular season in basketball nearly irrelevant.

The Bradley coach’s mannerisms remind me of every prick I coached against back in travel team baseball.

He was coaching? And not a prison league against the late Dana Kirk??
