    Yeah I get that. I just don’t get what the Jets had to lose by giving other teams permission to talk to Trouba.

    True but this gives them a year to convince Trouba to re-sign
    Yzerman is waiting in and with the Wings if he becomes a free agent

    I get that Karlsson is good, but is he worth paying $11.5M at age 34, $11M at age 35, $9M at age 36 and $7.5M at age 37?
