Who are the Wings’ radio guys? Listened to them a bit last night and they weren’t great. The colour guy kept taking over the PBP. It was tough to listen to.

So, any thoughts on Grapes' latest embarrassment?

 

I look at the quote and it reads like hes talking about people who dont wear the poppy not any specific group, so Im guessing its a local thing like saying Archie Bunker saying “you people” in Harlem or whatever?

 

Seems pretty clear he was trying to bust on immigrants.



And of course Ron MaClean is left to make the apologies.

Imagine the immigrant from the middle east or SE Asia and all they've seen is war in their lifetime, they come to Canada and hear some 80 year old yutz who dresses like a super-villian in an LGBT friendly comic book that they should be wearing a poppy on their lapel to commemorate people who died in a war 100 years ago. OK Boomer.

 

Wow. Of all the ships he could be sunk on, this one.

Thought about him when the Whalercanes were doing a Storm Surge after blowing out Ottawa.

Grapes called the team a Bunch of Jerks for celebrating with the home crowd following home wins. But they're not verbally going after immigrants on the air.

In summary, who was the real jerk, Grapes?
