    Cool Saleh stays put.
Stefansku really? Anyone just watch the “imaginative” Vikings gain 80 yds for 55 mins? (40 on one play)?

Especially when there were three other offensive coordinators this weekend who would be better with the weapons the browns currently have

Haslam should fire Stefanski today and hire Bieniemy.

It has been reported that the Browns required that the coach give the owner and the "analytics department" (dePodesta) copies of the game plan each Friday for final review. So no coach with any self-respect, not to mention ability, should want to work under that setup.

That’s kind of an antiquated mindset. I understand you don’t want some stat head calling all your plays, but if they can tell you more quickly than you’d glean from just watching film that the opponent gives up the most yards to, say, tight ends in the league and yet you’ve got no big plans to utilize seam routes, isn’t that something you’d want to know and incorporate?

Of course it is. That's why game week has a Tuesday. The problem here is that the coach is now subordinate to DePodesta in the most basic part of the coach's job. It'll take about five seconds of minicamp for every Brown with an issue (I hear they have a few) to figure out they can bypass Stefanski and go right to DePodesta with a complaint. That way lies disaster.

Exactly. And Kraft has admitted this screwed Carroll in New England.

Was it McDaniels it someone else who leaked that nugget?

“Submit for final review” probably doesnt mean what you think it does, or what the snubbed coach who leaked it wants you to think it does

I've gotten to where I hate the word analytics.
