They didn’t give him a qualifying offer.

Did Kapler actually earn some respect from baseball insiders during his time at Philly? I'm curious what the Giants roster will look like next year - they'll go with a reboot or a remodel on the fly.

Boone lost to Baldelii. Even as a Sox fan I think that’s a mistake; yeah, they had more talent, but the Yankees in regular season cranked along with all their injuries. They almost always give these plaudits to skips with low money rosters. A kind of soft toss — bc the chances they would actually win a title are null, but thanks for playing. Bonne and his savages — lol — got robbed.

Right now, on the fly. After the winter meetings, could be a rebuild. Farhan works in mysterious ways.

Of course, Bay area Twitter is up in arms for his handling of an incident involving a young girl in spring training when he was with the Dodgers. Poison pens are out already, I'm sure.

They have some young pieces but old legacies and a possible rotation without Bum could mean they are trying to piece this together as they go.

I don't know why Kapler. Sure he ticks Zaidi's boxes, but he couldn't get it done in Philly with a decent roster and has an iffy record with reporting violence against women in an area of the country where even a sniff of iffy is enough to have people want you gone.

I don't know how anybody could look at what the Yankees lost -- and especially the no-names they replaced them with -- and say that wasn't the best managing job of the year.

Yep, no big deal how he handled things.

Iffy for sure. I don't understand this hire for that and other reasons, especially since he was fired in Philly after just two seasons.
