    No doubt it's the one job he's always wanted. See also Rice, Tulsa, Pitt, ASU and his next destination. Not a bad hire considering when the job opened.

    The Big 12 will continue to exist after Oklahoma and Texas bolt, for the simple reason that there’s no other place for Iowa State, Kansas State, Texas Tech, etc. to go. Whether the conference keeps its P5 status is an open question.

    There's a very good chance it doesn't happen. Or what? G5 gonna boycott? I'm sure there will be a criteria for a G5 team that will be nearly impossible to attain.

    They will still get a little spotlight bowl like Memphis, but they aren't getting in an eight-team playoff. 8 teams is enough for everyone in the Power 5 to play and that is all that's going to matter on the first expansion.
