It was a very strange game. Sometimes England looked in total control. Croatia had a single touch in the box for the longest time. The first half of extra time, I thought England looked calm and composed. And then, out of nowhere, someone would just completely lose the plot.

Do they piss and moan more than Sawx fans pre-04?

Oh, they're much meaner because of the ex-player "Back in my day" factor. That's what makes it funny, seeing as they come from an era of total international failure.

My Jamaican buddy pointed out England wouldn't be where they are without the Jamaicans, Sterling, Young and Rose. He also is a Man U supporter.

The pub crowd thinned so quickly after the match. It was amazing.

Croatia bossed the entire second half. They deserved the win. Damn it.

I got on it last year when I spent a week in Croatia. Loved it there. Went to a tavern opening on the island of Korcula and it turned into a street party. I can imagine what it’s like right now.

No need to change the start of the Wimbledon final now.

I can only imagine how Pedro was earlier today. Still have family down there at the south end and, yeah, I bet it was a bit nuts.

On 3 more days before all of the soccer hipsters move on from "shithousery" to find the next cool phrase.

Heard a guy analyzing the match-up Sunday and he predicted (get this) "a low scoring game."
