Screw it. Spin the wheel, make the deal and let's get on with it.

Supposedly, during at least one of them ( can't recall which), the wheel wasn't gimmicked and the wrestlers were stuck with not having a clue what match they were about to have.

One cool thing about Thesz was that he came out of retirement in the early 1990s to have a match in Japan with Masa Chono, who was one of his students.

The Apter mags made a huge deal of it, and I thought it was cool back then. Then, thanks to the magic of the internets, I got to see the match on YouTube a few years back.

The great thing about it was the entrances. Chono comes out in an 80s-style military jacket with epaulettes (Bret Hart wore them for a while), with some pyro and women with flowers, with music

Thesz comes out with an old black robe and a towel around his neck. The contrast in eras was great.

Thesz did it so he could say he wrestled in seven decades, which has been broken since by Mae Young (nine)

At the end of the segment with Balor, Bo said he had an idea and Axel said he had no idea what he was talking about.

    This could be it.

Pretty entertaining clip. May bring back some good memories for some Wrestling folks around these parts.

Thanks. He took the lead with that, I guess because he's been asked about it a lot. But yeah, he really was awesome to talk to. Very fluid and insightful. Wasn't "put off"' that he was talking to a reporter like some of the talent acts.

Gonna see if I can get him to sign the finished product on Saturday.

Well, you have your old-school guys who still like to keep kayfabe, plus, some of them, when they're doing publicity, are being interviewed by a whole bunch of reporters during a few-hour period in one-to-ones, so they get tired after a while.
