Finally got around to seeing some highlights and quotes from Woods. Seems like it was his best ball-striking of the seven rounds he's played.

Even-par or better Friday gets him to the weekend.

Oh, it's not even going to take 140 to get in. I'm betting as tricky as that course is, and if the wind comes up.......143-144 may get in.

this feels like a US Open with bad greens.

+1, four shots from lead, four shots inside cut line, T14, pretty good, exceeding expectations. Of course lets see how weekend goes because still some ugly numbers on the card.

I see Lexi Thompson was penalized again. Poor little thing.

Finally got a chance to speed through the third round of Honda. Some scores put up today.

I don’t often buy into “caddy talk” but I do agree with this. The worst score Woods could have shot was 1-under 69. Lots of chances. Didn’t make a putt.

Not in contention. But a top 10 would be impressive.

You really have set a low bar for him.

There was no bar at all a month ago. I thought he’d break his back again.

A top 10 on this course after four back surgeries and not playing for two years? Yeah, that’s impressive. Golf is hard.

  11. Thought he was going to post a top 10. Db, B, killed that notion.

Sam Burns never got this much air time.
