tl;dr -- Timothy McVeigh liked the Buffalo Bills, bet 1K on them to win the first Super Bowl against Dallas (link?), then blew up the Oklahoma City building in 1995 a couple months after the Bills lost their fourth Super Bowl in a row ... hmmmmmm ...

Even odder. It's adapted from a book.

Also, the Bills had been to the playoffs a couple of times, including once to the AFC championship game, and were 13-3 in that first Super Bowl season in 1990. They should have been used to success by that point. Did their fans really storm the field and tear down the goal posts after beating the Dolphins in a divisional round game? If so, what the hell was that all about?

They're just looking to lighten the moving vans when they head to Vegas. Nothing but 2-lane roads after they hop off I-80 in Reno.

McCarron was the third-best QB on the roster throughout camp. Also, Peterman was 1-1 as a starter last year. (The Colts game -- threw a TD pass through a blizzard, and Bills were leading when he was injured.)

Not sure at what point in the game he got hurt, but Peterman was 5-of-10 for 57 yards in that game. Hardly the stuff of legend, or enough to erase the memory of that debacle in Los Angeles.

    I mentioned the blizzard, yes?

The Bills needed overtime to score 13 points in that game despite 156 yards rushing by McCoy. It really wasn't much of an accomplishment by Peterman.

Tom Brady threw for 312 yards in the Tuck Rule Game. He threw for 380 yards and six touchdowns in a 59-0 win over Tennessee in a blizzard.
    THAT is impressive.
Complete 5 of 10 passes, even in that mess, against an absolutely terrible Colts team is nothing they're going to build statues for.
