    99% of the players aren't Giancarlo Stanton. They are guys like Brando Inge or Dan Uggla or J.P. Crawford or or Greg Byrd or Jose Martinez, so when I see 52 ribbies on August 18, I don't know what the fuck that means, and, unless you are really following that guy or his team, you don't either.

    Sure, to hopefully illustrate a point - that RBIs can be a misleading stat.

    There's no hypothetical where a guy who hits for a .400 average (with the necessary number of at bats and all that) didn't have a good season.
