No he doesn't. Other than that, it's not a crazy ballot except Sosa.

He was a gigantic dick. Toronto fans wanted to kill him when he complained about the length of time of a ceremony honouring Tom Cheek, a beloved broadcaster for the team.

But, as every year goes by, I'm more convinced he should be in.

Who cares how any of these players treated the media.

And it’s sad some these pious voters would think that matters.

Matsui hit 508 HRs in his career between MLB and Japan. We will never know what kind of numbers he would have put up if he'd played his entire career in the US, but a reasonable guess is 400 to 450 homers and 2500-2800 hits. He also had great postseason stats including 2009 World Series MVP.

Including the biggest asshole of all, Jim Rice, who is in solely b/c Boston guys spent 15 years stumping for him. Sweet irony.

I think there actually might be a faction that holds it against him that he decided to walk away then when could obviously still be a very good pitcher who had a shot at 300 if he pitched two more seasons but was content to stop and hang out in Williamsport.

Joe Morgan a loose cannon speaking on behalf of old-timers! I'm shocked. And Poz should know better than to associate Morgan with an official Hall position.

Joe Morgan’s official position is that since his induction, the Hall should be closed to new inductees. Joe Morgan is Roy Hobbs. “And then when I walked down the street people would've looked and they would've said there goes Joe Morgan, the best there ever was in this game.” Or was he Joe Hardy?
