Got it. Wasn't paying careful attention - it's too late.

The All-Star break throws people off. They think of it as mid-way but it's actually really late in the season.

When the season began, there was little reason to think the Lakers would finish out of the playoffs.

They had won 35 games the season before. Portland finished third in the West with 49 wins. Eighth place was 47 wins. Adding LeBron looked to put the Lakers right there.

And they were on pace until he got hurt. If LeBron stayed healthy all season, they'd be there. Clippers are eighth right now, on pace to win 46 games. Lakers would have made it with a healthy LeBron.

34 year-olds, with a lot of mileage on their tires, get hurt.
Lakers are like 3-9 since he's been back healthy, and started his 'playoff activation'.

You are what your record is. The Lakers stink.

    You really think he's healthy?

I think he's old and disinterested and is in LA to collaborate on 2Chainz drops and Space Jam 2.
His leadership skills have been abysmal.
I refuse to make excuses for him.

What's funny is he's playing like he's saving himself for the playoffs. It's that time of the season for him, but now he'll just have enough energy for the off-season recruiting trips.

I agree with all of this but I also don't believe he is healthy.
