    Point taken. I'll accept "he's one of the best receivers in the league".

    Considering the evolution of passing in the NFL, league history doesn't hold a ton of water with me.

    I get that. But he's in the NY market. Once he made that catch in primetime, he was going to be shoved down our throats. At least he's living up to the hype better than most.

    Long is an outspoken guy who went to U.Va. Not surprised he made this statement. But yeah, a little paternalistic.

    He's a savvy guy. I'd be surprised if Jenkins and maybe other black teammates hadn't signed off on the idea before he did it.
