The timing alone on that Zig Zag of Days was amazing.

Why does fuckin Reigns even have the US title? Should have kept it on Rusev, then put it on Cass as his first title. Might as well, since they're not in the tag division. The Universal title isn't going to gain any traction as a legit top world title this way. To me, AJ is The Man, holding the real world title.

SmackDown is the A show by a mile at times.

    What JimmyHoward said.

Do a battle royal with the winner getting a shot at the title later that night (a foreshadowing thing for the Rumble). Last guy thrown out gets a U.S. title shot. Have Cass win by throwing out Sheamus. Or, have Zayn win, and we get another Zayn/Owens fight.

Mix things up a little. Sow some potential dissension in New Day by having them compete in a triple threat against each other, but with the winner getting the title shot.

Hell, have Owens say he's going to give someone a title shot, but he'll let Jericho choose the contender. Jericho says he'll announce it on a Highlight Reel. Then Jack Gallagher comes out, and has a wonderful dueling promo session with Jericho who finally gives him the title shot. Then Gallagher runs circles around him until Owens barely survives. Puts over the cruiserweight division as a tough division, and yet he still wins.

Shit, since they want to hype the Rumble so much, and the winner gets the title shot at WM, instead of having Goldberg come out next week and talk about Lesnar (since kayfabe-wise, they could end up not facing each other anyways if one is in early and the other is in late), have him confront Owens with a "I'm going to win the Rumble, and if you hold on to your title, you're next!"

Or even better, Goldberg interrupts a Reigns/Owens skit, and he and Reigns knock each other out with simultaneous spears.

A lot of these ideas, you know who's going to win, but at least they're something different than the same old shit each and every week.

Smackdown was great, mostly because they seem to have decided that the mid point between ppvs is going to be a big tv show with title matches. Right now it feels fresh.

Chicago crowd was great. It was really enjoyable to watch a women's match the crowd was into that wasn't "history" and was just a good program. Bliss and Lynch have been great together.

Wow, first wrestling post of 2017? Take it the board isn't enjoying the current product?

Or, there's a 2017 thread that is on Page 125 and rarely leaves the front page of Anything Goes.
