    Have a night, Auston Matthews.

Could there be anything better for the NHL than a young new superstar and winning team in Toronto?

Yes, one in a market that needs support. This doesn't change a thing for the league. The Leafs can't get anymore support out of TO then they already get.

    It's 4 now.

It will be 24/7 Leafs on the sports network up here now.

Losing the game after he scores four goals in his first NHL game is almost criminal.

Would Auston Matthews even play hockey if the Coyotes weren't in Phoenix?

I could play an entire season of NHL 17 faster than the Penguins can get through a pregame ceremony.

And of course, we're not even halfway through the Wings' first game and Vanek has scored twice and Frans Nielsen once.

And then they lost. So, there's that "consolation." :p
