2015 Golden Era Committee Ballot

    Morris will be ahead of Whitaker, who I think is going to miss the Expansion Ballot requirement this next time by a year, when Morris goes on. So Whitaker might have to wait until 2019 for his first Veterans Committee shot.

    Parker got on for the first time last year with all the managers and got "six or less votes" so who knows where he stands. John was in the same boat in his second try on the ballot.

    Dick- why do you hate Morris so much?
    I once felt this way about Ryne Sandberg's inclusion, but learned to let it go.

    I don't hate him. I don't understand why he's such a cause célèbre when there are so many worthy players not yet in.

    Who is worthier?
    You don't appear discriminating enough when you make calls for Tim Hudson.
    Morris surmounted when the money was on the line. That is all anyone needs to know.

    I don't think Tim Hudson is a Hall of Famer. Not yet.

    Cooperstown is supposed to be about greatness.
