As always Mark, the question is "What else is on?" People love live TV. They watched Carrie Underwood in "The Sound of Music," after all. Compared to that, Bills-Jaguars is epic entertainment.

I'm guessing the lowered cost is as a result of which pick they get of games. I think they get seventh choice of games each week. I suspect that will change next year when they try to drive up the price.

Terrell Owens is a free agent again after being put on waivers by his wife of two weeks. She says he only married her for the money.

There's a guy who's going to have to bum airfare off someone to make it to his own Hall of Fame induction.

Rahm Emanuel, a crook and a liar, wants the draft held in Chicago.

Since the offseason brings free agency and salary cap talk, here's a good resource site: www.overthecap.com.

Gives you plenty of info about estimated cap space teams have, who will be free agents, who may be salary cap casualties, and other such info.

A specific post I'll drag over: OTC looks at the free agent running backs:

There are a few guys who everyone expects to be cut loose for cap reasons, Matt Schaub is at the top of most of those lists... I think at some point Mark Sanchez will be let go as well.

Holy shit. I didn't think any franchise could be run worse than the Clippers or Knicks, but I might have to realign that thinking.

    No worse franchise.

    Trainwreck is putting it nicely.

Absolutely the worst-run pro sports franchise around. Epic disaster.

Why now, brown cow? After you hire the coach? If you're going to do this (and I have no clue what the logic is for only giving them a year, but IF you're going to...), I have no clue why you don't do it right at the end of the season like you did with Chud. Why now?
