By making them a No. 1 seed? Do tell.

And this is one of the most ridiculous parts of creating the bracket. I'm all for doing something to keep fans from having to buy last-minute tickets to fly 2,000 miles, but keep it reasonable. Florida gets to play in Orlando, Syracuse in Buffalo, Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Duke in Raleigh, Kansas in St. Louis. If you want to stack the deck, just come out and say it. But I don't expect common sense from a group that thinks 68 teams is a good number to start with.

Um, no. The No. 1 seed was earned IMO, but that doesn't mean the committee is greasing the skids for the Shockers.

Is Vitale sick? He looks awful. He looks green and yellow.

That looks like the road of an 8 seed not a 1 seed.

If the NCAA put Duke outside the North Carolina state lines for their first game, K might not let them go. As for Wichita, they have the toughest bracket of the four. But one of the number ones has that every year.

No 1 but dropping them into a gauntlet to prove they deserved it. Ky and Louisville? Please.

Wichita State's second round game will be its toughest to date. If Kentucky beats K-State their big guys could give WSU fits, if they are interested that day.

This said by the biggest Boston homer this side of Dan Shaughnessy. Pot, meet kettle.

Hypocrisy noted of writers who decry the moral rot of college athletics and, at the same time, cream their shorts over this silly tournament.
