The 15 finalists for the Hall of Fame have been announced:

    Michael Strahan
    Jonathan Ogden
    Larry Allen
    Warren Sapp
    Jerome Bettis
    Cris Carter
    Tim Brown
    Andre Reed
    Charles Haley
    Kevin Greene
    Will Shields
    Aeneas Williams
    Bill Parcells
    Edward DeBartolo Jr.
    Art Modell

    Those who were eliminated:
    Morten Andersen
    Steve Atwater
    Don Coryell
    Roger Craig
    Terrell Davis
    Joe Jacoby
    Albert Lewis
    John Lynch
    Karl Mecklenburg
    Paul Tagliabue
    Steve Tasker
    George Young

I'm going to guess the five will be Haley, Parcells, Ogden, Shields and Reed. Ogden could easily be replaced by Allen, and probably should be, but I think they will spread out the teams represented, and Reed could easily be replaced by Carter, but I think they will go by oldest to more recent.

I think some of those guys used steroids, so fuck 'em all and let Canton go dark for the summer.

Parcells was definitely juiced while he was coaching, and I have my suspicions about DeBartolo, too.

It'll be a sad day in Canton when Warren Sapp, one of the most unprofessional and unlikable people in football, gets inducted into the Hall. Dude is a first-class jerk.

Can't believe Coryell didn't make the cut. Or George Young.

Which has nothing to do with what he did on the field.

Larry Allen and Jonathan Ogden are locks. I think Parcells gets in, as do Carter, Haley, and Sapp.

IMO, Reed should already be in the HOF, but the voters hate WRs almost as much as punters (see the annual snub of Ray Guy).

Interesting to see Paul Tagliabue fall off the list. He almost made it a few years back and Dr Z was so outspoken against that it did him in.

the max number is five, so someone from your list is going to get cut.
