Well guess what, if he's taking his glove off after he's been slashed, it's a penalty for slashing regardless of the glove coming off. Here's a thought, don't slash him. It's not rocket surgery.

Debatable. He was a Grimsby Peach King.

Bieksa is a cry-baby and a douche. The excuses coming from that team never cease to amaze.

They take their cues from their coach. Alain Vigneault always has been a bitch.

I hope they don't try to burn down the city again.

At what point, if any, does Pittsburgh make a goaltending change?

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. On the one hand, Dan Bylsma knows that Marc Andre Fleury has to be his man if he wants to go deep in the playoffs, so you can't afford to lose him mentally. On the other hand, Fleury is struggling mightily now after a strong Game 1 shutout. So can you spot him one game, hope Vokoun can win and Fleury regain his composure? If that happens, do you have the guts to go back to him before Vokoun springs a leak? Tough call.

That is hilarious. How they called that a goal is still puzzling to me.

Leafs lose to Boston tonight in OT. They are down 3-1 and Phaneuf's bad pinch costed them the game.

Goodness, four all-out wars tonight. Unbelievable intensity. Doesn't get much better than this.

Rangers tie the series with Washington, scoring twice in the third. Krejci's hat trick wins it in OT for Boston over Toronto. St. Louis scores late (again) to force overtime with Los Angeles. Anaheim kills off a five-minute penalty, then scores on the PP to tie Detroit 2-2 after two. Fun stuff!
