You just knew Baltimore @ Denver was going to kick things off.

Yeah, had to after the Orioles/Selig screwed them.

Broncos have some real nice games/storylines.

At Giants in Week 2 (Manning Bowl)
vs. Jaguars in Week 6 (Del Rio vs. old team)
At Colts in Week 7 (Sunday night; Manning goes back to Indy)
vs. Redskins in Week 8 (Shanahan returns to Denver)
At Patriots in in Week 12 (Sunday nighter)

FUN FACT: The last four Super Bowl champs have been the home opener for the Philadelphia Eagles.

So, with that in mind, your 2014 Super Bowl Champion is:

    The San Diego Chargers.

That's got the stink of two blowouts and one poorly-played close game.

I am old enough to think Packers-Lions should be an annual Thanksgiving Day game.

That was my thought as soon as I saw the matchup.

    Of course, I'm old, too.

The NFL did the Bears no favors with their prime-time games: at Steelers, at Giants, at Packers, vs. Cowboys. Three of those games will be very difficult.

Whom the Cowboys will lose to in December:

Monday Dec 9th Cowboys @ Bears

Sunday Dec 15th Packers @ Cowboys

Sunday Dec 22nd Cowboys @ Redskins

Sunday Dec 29th Eagles @ Cowboys

I'm thinking either Bears on a Romo fumble or Eagles on a Romo INT. Or mix and match. Romo effing up is the constant.

"New England, December 20th. I get out that week."
    "Oh, shit."
"Patsies are toast. There's no way we're losing with us in the parking lot. Not a chance."
    "15 and 1."
    "Totally realistic."

I looked at the schedule and can't find when oop starts bitching with everyone. I think it's a little after Labor Day, IIRC.
