I'd kind of like to see Clippers v. Warriors in the West Finals.

Maybe Clippers v. Heat in the Finals, too.

We've seen everything else in sports: Bucs win Super Bowl, Kings win Stanley Cup, Marlins and Dbacks each beat the Yankees to win the World Series. Seems about time for the Clippers to be in the championship (and win it).

Well, I guess we haven't seen everything: Cubs.

Who in a million years thought the Kings would win the Cup before the Cubs won the World Series?

    Not a stunner.

George Karl is coaching a favored team in the first round.

So in this scenario, what exactly happens to OKC between the time of the WCF and the NBA Finals?

DQ'd for using an ineligible player who received improper benefits.

Posterizing dunk No. 1 (Roy Hibbert over Ivan Johnson):

Posterizing dunk No. 2 (Gerald Green over Josh Smith):

Worst end-of-quarter defense ever (Atlanta allowed a full-court inbounds pass and dunk with 1.2 seconds left in the third):

Westbrook done for the playoffs. Meniscus tear.

Won't affect the Heat going fo' fo'-fo'-fo', tho'.

Damn, that sucks. I was hoping for the rematch. It will be interesting to see what Reggie Jackson can do with the increased playing time.

Is that who they got in the Eric Maynor trade? Hell, I can't even remember where they sent him....Portland?

No, they drafted him in the first round a couple years ago. He's the main reason they were okay trading Maynor.

Also, it will be interesting to see Durant play without having to share the ball with Westbrook. I wonder if we'll see some 50+ point games from him. In the end, though, this likely dooms them before they can reach the Finals.

If Manu keeps playing the way he has in the first two games, I wouldn't mind seeing a Spurs-Heat Finals.

I've watched some of the Heat-Bucks series. The Bucks are playing about as well as they can, but the Heat are still cutting through them like a hot knife through butter.

    Too damn good.

After reading some more, Westbrook isn't necessarily out for the playoffs. That could end up being the case, but there's also a chance he's back in a couple weeks.

Patrick Beverley is going to have to get a police escort if this series goes back to OKC. Not just to the court -- on the court.

Westbrook's injury happened when Beverley went for a steal when it was clearly apparent Westbrook was slowing down to call a timeout. In fact, I think the injury happened after the whistle. Westbrook stayed in the game, and you can see he's not going to invite Beverley to any holiday parties.

If was a cheap shot, but that's basically why McHale sent him out on Westbrook -- to be a fucking pissant. Job well done.
