2013 MLB postseason running thread

    Wow, that's twice MLB has won out vs. the NFL in a scheduling conflict. An Orioles home series was the reason that the Super Bowl champion Ravens had to open on the road this season instead of at home (the stadiums share parking lots).

    I have to imagine that were Al Davis still living, he'd have raised holy hell over this.

    I'm almost positive that this is settled in the contract that A's get dibs. There's nothing Al or anyone else can do.

    It was also in coaches contracts that they get paid after Al Davis fired them. Ha.

    Yes, 8:30 p.m. PDT. NFL Network nationally, plus over-the-air in local markets. Curious the Raiders and Chargers didn't swap dates, being in the same division. Plus, San Diego St. has a Friday night game at the Q.

    Would have given the Chargers back-to-back December road games at Denver and at Oakland. That's probably why.
