    Giants' Yusmeiro Petit (WTF?) through six vs. Diamondbacks. And he just got the required spectacular play.

    This isn't an expanded roster thing. Petit has been with the team for a while and the Dbacks are playing all their regulars except it looks like one guy (Owings, SS) just came up.

    Is Petit a former reliever? He pitches full-time from the stretch.

    Yep. It's his fourth start of the season. Pitch count would be a worry if he wasn't at 73 through 7 2/3.
